The further south you go, the wider the beach gets, giving you more space to relax, take in the waves, or get in a few games of beach volleyball. At the end of South Mission Beach Park, you can cast out a line to catch some fish or just watch the boats pass by.

Food is no scarcity in this laidback neighborhood. Consistently ranked as having the best sushi in the city, Sushi Ota is a must for raw fish lovers, offering amazing sashimi, sushi, and omakase menus. Head to Oceana Coastal Kitchen at the Catamaran Hotel for some of the best seafood dishes made with local ingredients and a famous Sunday Champagne brunch. Finish things off with a refreshing tiki cocktail and Cuban-inspired dishes at Miss B’s Coconut Club.
